Light Fabrications Inc. in Rochester, NY is pleased to announce their new High Tack Silicone Tape. This tape is was developed for a customer struggling with primer for silicone substrate bonding. Drying time, assembly and fixtures were killing their output and profitability.

Light Fab supplied LF 508, that stuck to the silicone substrate and reduced assembly time by 92%. The adhesive’s 650F temp specifications and performance exceeded the customer's expectations resulting in a tremendous cost savings and faster manufacturing times. Click here to learn more.

Shortly after Sept. 11, Light Fabrications in Rochester, NY developed a full line of custom manufactured 3M "glow in the dark" signs that meet building code for NYC and others.

Light Fabrications is pleased to announce a new product in our line sold commercially for anti-graffiti and window protection needs. 3M Scotchgard 2004 product protects surfaces from all forms of graffiti, scratches, spray paint, gouges and more.

This 4 layer product when applied to glass, is optically clear & offers the extra benefits blocking heat, glare, and 99 percent of damaging ultraviolet rays. Easy application with no or little residue and paints and permanent markings are easily removed without harsh chemicals.

When surface is painted or defaced, simply remove top layer to expose the next defect free surface.

Light Fabrications, Inc. announces new product “Repulpable Hole Patch” with Adhesive Free Center for repairing holes in web for Paper Mills.

Rochester, New York June 2, 2008 -- Light Fabrications Corp., a contract manufacturing and specialty converting company, today announced that it has developed a hole patch for web repair at paper mills.
Working closely with 3M and mill engineers, Light Fab was able to develop a patch which eliminates the tedious sandwich patching that has been a standard in the industry for so long. The protective adhesive free center of the LF311 eliminates adhesive exposure and contamination through the backside of the web. LF311 is oval shaped to reduce edge shock encountered with typical square patches. The patches are constructed from one of the thinnest 3M Repulpable tapes on the market (2.2 mil.) Impressions nor glue transfers to the next layer of paper in the roll.
